Soon to be released: The ultimate edition of one of the ultimate German cult movies on Blu-ray. We're talking about the punk/industrial-underground-classic DECODER (directed by Muscha) from 1984. The incredible cast: FM Einheit (former member of Einstürzenden Neubauten), Christiane "F." Felscherinow, FM's brother Ralf Richter and William Rice. Also starring subculture icons William S. Burroughs and Genesis P-Orridge as well as FM's former band colleague Alexander Hacke who's also worked on the soundtrack and has a small cameo. A recurring song in the film is „Seedy Films“ by Soft Cell. Awesome!
This chock-full (English-friendly and also French-subtitle-equipped) edition wouldn't be possible without the close collaboration of the great Klaus Maeck (screenwriter and producer).
